Dying Beauty

Why do all my words seem empty?

Like stale bread?

Overcooked and needs to be thrown out

I tried reasoning with you

I open my mouth

And move my head

The words are few

There are no guarantees

I love you more than you apparently love me

I feel like a expensive painting in a deserted museum

The painting is peeling and ripping

I miss you as a friend

But did I cause your limping?

The exit is your only freedom

Is this the way it will always end?

I guess dying stars still have beauty

We are all Heaven-Sent

Fingerprints in your soul

As unique as your fingerprint

You say you aren’t paying rent

But aren’t you heaven-sent?

Your cells are fluttering like butterflies in your body

Don’t worry about your mortality

We all getting ready for the finale

When we will wake up to a new reality

Better Days are Coming

When life ebbs and flows to the shore
Like a caressing substance of hope
Do you implore?
Looking for the wider scope?
The wider scope of resistance

Answers come and go
But why fret?
You need to go with the flow
Let go of regret
The regret of the past

I used to want to know everything
Now I am happy in the sunlight
With evergreens and birds singing
There’s a battle in the day and night
A battle for control

Will you hold to your self?
And forgive more easily?
Bitterness dries up the wealth
Do you believe me?
Believe me, better days are coming

Thoughts for Today!

Suffering brings fruit!

If you want victory surrender to God first!

The world is tainted with truth but the Word is an absolute

If you want to experience the Holy Spirit thirst!

Give to the unnoticed and misguided because Jesus did!

If you want freedom abide in Christ

Be mature like an adult but like love like a kid

Forgive 77 x 7 times not just twice

Soul’s Ache

Withstand

Every demand

With your head

In your hand

Feeling scared

Underprepared

If you trust God

Know He cares

Delegations

Uncomfortable situations

Be bold

Keep your ambitions

Jesus to the cross

Shows whose boss

It’s destiny

Not a coin toss

This world is ugly

Deepest black sea

A current

Of hypocrisy

Jesus says

To pray

For everyone

Esp. for your enemy

Trust your faith

The soul’s ache

The map of longing

To never forsake

Footsteps in the Garden

Idle talk

Can you walk the walk?

Some days are strange

Can’t handle the change

Bad fruit on the vine

But I say I am fine

Pluck the weeds

To cover up my greed

And idle hands

And unmet plans

God, where are You?

Will you make my heart anew?

I hear your footsteps in the garden

I hope my heart doesn’t harden

But I am scared

And underprepared

But You say, “I take you as you are”

I will be with you no matter if you travel far

Time is a Dance

Why don’t you take a chance?

When you know time is a dance?

Around and around we go

To new a oblivion of opportunity

Time follows like so

I wish I could put time in a box

But it wants to be fluid

Like a lake into a river

This dance echos the free

Dance your little hearts out

Selfless Love Leaves a Beauty Mark

Slander and gossip is all around

What is new?

We rise to fall down

We deserve it after all

My ear is itching

In my chair I am twitching

Are you talking about me too?

I am the talk of the town

You know it’s true

The billboard with a picture of a clown

The jester who is about to fall

Looking for peace is only wishing

My ripped paper heart needs stitching

I don’t want to hear, “I love you”

I take a road trip for a fresh breath of air

The journey frees my soul

Once I let go I don’t care

My spirit is my only hope

This world lost it’s spark

And left me in the dark

It’s time for me to take control

Selfless love is genuine and fair

But the opposite leaves a hole

But selfless love can take you anywhere

It will nurture and help you cope

Here my spirit can just park

As it leaves a beauty mark

And the rhythm of love remains full

Mother Earth, Where Are You?

Mother Earth, Where are You?

This sandy air has no moisture to it

I feel the coming rage

Slumped shoulders bring war

Started by the chaos of a plague

If I have committed sins

I have asked for forgiveness

But I see Pharaoh

Judgement is imminent, nevertheless

I won the lottery

A chance of a lifetime

To be enslaved

You think I have it made

I see people not smile

It breaks my very core

I see the political system in upheaval

My praying knees are so feeble

This world is changing again

But for the worst

A pregnant planet

Whose sick baby is coming forth

So speedy and slick

When left to our own devices

We are weak and scared

Only holding it up closer in a crisis

No, I do care

Do you care that I have tended this garden of life?

I feel desperation coming through

Mother Earth, where are you?
