Every demand
With your head
In your hand
Feeling scared
Underprepared
If you trust God
Know He cares
Delegations
Uncomfortable situations
Be bold
Keep your ambitions
Jesus to the cross
Shows whose boss
It’s destiny
Not a coin toss
This world is ugly
Deepest black sea
A current
Of hypocrisy
Jesus says
To pray
For everyone
Esp. for your enemy
Trust your faith
The soul’s ache
The map of longing
To never forsake
Rain droplets in my soul
Frozen in time
I am fine
Just wish
I could cover this hole
God is my anchor
The ship’s commander
Light is around me
Darkness, don’t drown me
Don’t keep your lamp hidden
Even if your soul is bed ridden
There’s a chance for new discovery
Give your inner man a new way to see
Wash away the bad nightmares of yore
And shine that light again forevermore

Bringing in the heat
Showering the plants and flowers
But I could stay on this patio for hours
Looking into your eyes
You are my summer rain love
You are refreshing my soul
Like the Word of God
With your rejuvenating soul
Your presence makes me whole
I smell the crisp vegetation bloom
After you “rained” in my heart
