Red Sea Moment

The Israelites and Pharaoh

The 10 plagues

Hail, frogs and locust

It’s no hocus pocus

It’s God’s wrath

Who will win?

You do the math

The powers to be

Are obsessed with greed

Every time we buy something

We are just watering their seed

The supply chain

Is strained

Pharaoh cracks the whips

He needs you

Your security and wealth

Is in his ghastly grips

The more the structures fall

The more we are awakened

The red sea is closing in

But we will make it through

But whatever you do

Don’t go back

Keep moving straight

These moments are pregnant

The blood represents more than sea

They are connected to many unborn lives

Come on children, cross over me with me

Fruit We Bear

Christians are supposed to be known by their love for each other

But even the church can be toxic

No wonder so many people are agnostic

Love we are supposed to represent

Not just to force them to repent

It’s more than just the rules

It’s heart of the matter

Jesus made that very clear

Prophets are known by the fruits they bear

There will be many false prophets and Christs

They will adding miracles as a part of the price

They will charge per demon casted out

I know we are in the end times

But where’s the hope the Bible talks about?

I know there will every disease, war and drought

But what about taking about the glory coming?

And saints joining hands while satan’s agenda is crumbling

It’s more than the propaganda and hysteria

People are suffering enough as it is

And the unbelievers need hope

As they are at the end of their rope

They need more than a verse

They has been rehearsed

They need love

I have been hurt by hypocrites

Wolves in sheep clothing

I hope they will reap what they been sowing

Blessed are the poor spirit for theirs is the kingdom

Proverbs and Ecclesiastes is filled with so much wisdom

Everything is meaningless apart from God

Dusty Road

You say it’s ok
But I want to believe you
You say you love me
I want to receive it too

But I come from a dusty road
Some trees along the way
Offering support
But some decided not to stay

The clock has stopped
So I can’t see
How long been low on gas
The loss of time perplexes me

The gas isn’t my life expectancy
But fuel of hope
What started as destiny
Quickly lost its wide scope

I know others have dusty roads
But mine seems so dry
I choose stick shift to experience life
But you question why

I try to stop asking why
I’ll keep driving
Where the rubber meets the road
Where it’s ok my history was my striving

In the Warmth of the Night

In the warmth of the night
I can hear the katydids
Playing their song
In the wee hours of the night

I love summer nights
Where the air feels heavy
But more comfortable
Than the day

When many people have gone off to bed
Sleeping in their warm comforters
Throughout the world
It’s just you and me love

Staring at this moon together
We know it’s late
But we love being together
In the thick but welcoming summer air

I know you are going away
Like a caboose ready to ride
The straight and narrow
Please don’t forget me

I know I’ll never forget
Your half-moon smile
And twinkling star eyes
Summer will always be in my heart

Scripture Poem

For God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear
It’s not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick
Know this: the Lord takes personal care of the faithful
The Lord will hear
A bruised reed will not break
He will not snuff a smoldering wick

Promises of the Bible
Are awesome
Gos, You have no rival
You make the ways of the world look dumb
